What do our own Robert Evans and Garth Brooks have in common?  They are both featured in the NY Times article titled “When a Donation Steers Off Course.”

What happens when a donor feels that an organization isn’t losing his or her gift properly? At the most extreme case, a lawsuit can result, which is what happened several years ago involving a donation made by country music superstar Garth Brooks.
